Logo Design
Climate Technicians
Climate Technicians, a local HVAC company, contacted me to design a logo for their vans. They had a specific look in mind, and gave me the directive of a sun holding an air conditioner. They wanted bright and cheerful. Â

Current Accounts Magazine
The Georgia Society of CPAs
For 23 years, I managed Current Accounts, the member magazine for The Georgia Society of CPAs. I began by copyediting and laying out the issue and advanced to Editor-in-Chief. I directed the editorial calendar, proofread and copyedited articles submitted by members and subject matter experts, and oversaw the layout our graphic designer produced. I also wrote articles when needed. The issue below illustrates a typical edition and includes an article I wrote on page 26.Â

The Georgia Society of CPAs
The majority of articles written for the magazine were by subject-matter experts on topics such as tax law, accounting and auditing standards, and legislative effects on the accounting profession, and I would edit for grammar and style. On occasion, I would write for the magazine. This article was a summary of a survey conducted by the American Institute of CPAs about Management of Accounting Practices. I read the results for Georgia and collated the information into a reference for our members.
